About Cornerstone's Closet

What is Cornerstone's Closet?

Cornerstone’s Closet is a free store open to Cornerstone families in need. At the store, we have a variety of useful items available for pick up, free of charge. These items range from clothing and shoes, to household and child care essentials, to toys and books, and more. All items in the store were generously donated to Cornerstone Center, and are either in new or lightly-used condition.

Who does Cornerstone's Closet Help?

We designed Cornerstone’s Closet in order to help alleviate the financial burdens of child care on members of our community. By establishing a free store full of useful, in-demand goods, we strive to help Cornerstone families in need.

How Can I Help?

As a free store, Cornerstone’s Closet relies on donations. At this time, we accept household supplies and child care-related items. (We have paused collection of clothing items due to safety concerns amid the pandemic.) We are also looking for volunteers to help out with managing and organizing donations. If you’d like to help, please contact Ta’Lisha Franklin, Teacher and Family Resource Director, at tfranklin@cornerstonecenterstl.org or (314) 865-5244.

How Does It Work?

Shopping sessions are available by appointment to Cornerstone families. To set up an appointment, contact Ta’Lisha by email at tfranklin@cornerstonecenterstl.org or by phone at (314) 865-5244. You can also preview items at our virtual site.
