The pandemic has shown us that nothing is certain, and months of closure during 2020 resulted in financial challenges that none of us expected. You may also have read about the widely reported teacher shortages our nation is experiencing. This has greatly impacted Cornerstone, which is competing with school districts, private nanny positions, and other centers for caring, qualified staff. To address this, Cornerstone launched our monthly giving program in January. Our goal is to earn the support of 5 recurring donors each month through the end of 2021 for a total of 60 founding members.
The best way to maintain Cornerstone’s high quality of education is to retain our highly skilled, passionate educators. However, our mission to serve families of all economic backgrounds means keeping tuition affordable. Without donor support, Cornerstone Center cannot pay competitive wages, and every teacher that Cornerstone loses means fewer children and families we can serve. For as little as $5 a month, you can help Cornerstone Center continue supporting families by becoming a member of Cornerstone’s monthly giving club. Please sign up here.
Thank you to our generous friends who have already signed up and helped Cornerstone kick off our monthly giving program strong!
