Cornerstone Center for Early Learning’s Early Intervention Program Awarded $5,000 Grant from The Centene Foundation.

St. Louis, MO – November 4, 2024 – Cornerstone Center for Early Learning, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education and support services for children and families in the St. Louis area, today announced it has received a $5,000 grant from The Centene Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Centene Corporation – This funding will enhance Cornerstone’s Early Intervention Program, a critical initiative designed to provide specialized support and resources for young children with developmental delays and/or social-emotional challenges.

Cornerstone’s Early Intervention program ensures that every child in the organization’s care has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. By identifying and addressing developmental challenges early, the program provides children with the necessary tools and support to thrive both academically and socially. The grant from The Centene Foundation will be instrumental in expanding services and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each child’s unique needs.

“We are incredibly grateful to The Centene Foundation for their generous support,” said Executive Director of Cornerstone Center for Early Learning, Karen Lucy. “This grant will allow us to enhance our Early Intervention program, providing essential support to children who need it most. With this funding, we can ensure that our young learners receive the early assistance they need to succeed in school and beyond.”
