How to Be an Ambassador for Give STL Day

Cornerstone Ambassadors commit to asking 3 or more individuals (family, friends, colleagues, etc.) to make a donation to Cornerstone on or leading up to Give STL Day. That’s it—and it makes a huge impact. Here are some ideas on ways to ask for donations:

1. Post to Linkedin.

Feel free to share this post! Don’t forget to add your own personal message when you share to help drive engagement.

2. Send a text message or email, or post to Facebook or Instagram. Use the image and/or verbiage below if you like – or get creative and craft something entirely your own!

Cornerstone’s work matters to me because [your story or connection — one or two sentences]. I’ve made my Give STL Day gift, and I’m helping spread the word so Cornerstone can reach its $40,000 goal. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to support St. Louis families today, please join me in donating here: https://www.cornerstonecenterstl.org/give-now/

3. Create a Personal Fundraising Page on the Give STL Day website. You can create your own fundraiser from a template provided by Cornerstone. Just follow the steps below:

1. Visit Cornerstone’s page on the Give STL Day website: https://www.givestlday.org/organization/cornerstonecenterstl/

2. Click ‘Fundraise.’ Then, you will be taken to a page where you can build your fundraiser or use the template provided by Cornerstone. Editing the template to personalize your page is welcomed and encouraged! When you’re finished editing the template, be sure to click “Publish” on the left sidebar.

3. Encourage your network of families, friends, and colleagues to support it by sharing your fundraiser’s link via email, social media, or text.

If you have any questions or run into any issues, you can visit this help link.

4. If you prefer to ask your contacts to donate in some other way, that works too. Individuals can give via our website’s donate page (https://www.cornerstonecenterstl.org/give-now/), via Cornerstone’s page on the Give STL Day website (https://www.givestlday.org/organization/cornerstonecenterstl/), by check (made out to Cornerstone Center, mailed to 3901 Russell Blvd, St Louis, Mo 63110), and more. Cornerstone is a 501c3 nonprofit (EIN: 43-0923158).

Please keep in mind: If the donor is interested in tax credits, they must give through Cornerstone’s website or by check (DAFs are not eligible).
