In March, Cornerstone Center for Early Learning was named a new member of the STL Pre-K Cooperative! The STL Pre-K Cooperative is an initiative that deploys unused state pre-k funding to improve access to high quality pre-k for children in St. Louis City.
“The partnership with the Cooperative aligns beautifully with our mission and their goal of reaching 85% kindergarten readiness. This is definitely part of Cornerstone’s vision – for all children to be successful and thrive,” says Cornerstone’s Executive Director, Karen Lucy.
As a member, Cornerstone will be held to high expectations and rigorous evaluation by the STL Pre-K Cooperative to ensure quality programming and kindergarten readiness. While Cornerstone already has an award winning program, membership in the cooperative signals the organization’s dedication to exceptional pre-k education and a community approach to learning.
